In this section, I am using high-performance summer tires for comparison.  High performance summer tires are optimized for wet traction. The grooves and sipes on their tread can quickly evacuate water trapped in the contact patch. This helps avoid hydroplaning.

BFGoodrich gForce Profiler 2 and Bridgestone Potenza Sport are the best wet tires sold by BFGoodrich and Bridgestone respectively.

Tyrereviews users, however, claim Bridgestone tires can provide better wet grip than BFGoodrich tires. The Bridgestone Potenza Sport is rated at 88/100 by the users of Tyrereviews. The BFGoodrich gForce Profiler 2, on the other hand, gets a rating of 85 from them.

Bridgestone tires can give you a bit better dry grip compared to BFGoodrich tires. Users of Tyrereviews rate BFGoodrich gForce Profiler 2 at 92, while Bridgestone Potenza Sport gets 94/100.

Both Bridgestone Potenza Sport and BFGoodrich gForce Profiler 2 are great performance summer tires. But the Bridgestone Potenza Sport gives a slightly better dry grip.
